About Stratus Lounge

  • Overhead View of Lounge in Philly

We don't have to tell you Stratus Rooftop Lounge is unlike any other spot in Philadelphia - you'll know that the second you walk through the doors. Floating eleven stories above Independence Hall, famed Los Angeles designer Gulla Jonsdottir has created a rooftop respite that feels inspiring yet comfortable, with lush textures, swaying greenery, and moveable walls for year-round indulging.

The bar menu reflects Stratus's global vibe: our vast selection of single malt scotches, traditional gins, icy vodkas, and warming tequilas were chosen with purpose. Those same liquors - along with seasonal ingredients and throwback recipes - make up our crafted cocktail list. Our craft beers are tapped, and a focused wine list has an emphasis on bubbles.

Dress Code (Enforced at 8pm)

The Dress Code Policy is in place to maintain the sophistication of our brand for professional and personal entertaining, while embracing attire that does fit within the ambiance we promote for our nightlife. To achieve that, all attire is welcome with the exception of shorts (*shorts are permitted Wednesday & Thursday during the summer season), sandals, flip flops, baseball hats, beanies, plain round neck t-shirts, sweatshirts, sports apparel, tank tops, athletic sneakers, or work/hiking boots. Designer and logo collared shirts, dress shoes, jeans, blazers, are encouraged as long as the design is tactful and any marking are intentional from the designer.
